ABC's Laura's Place awarded Merit Award at the 2017 Portland Architecture Awards by Brian Cavanaugh


We had a great night at AIA Portland 's 2017 Portland Architecture Awards. Laura's Place won a Merit Award in the Small Project Category! With this award Laura's Place has now received recognition at the local, regional and national levels of the The American Institute of Architects. Laura's Place is a transitional housing project we designed for Central City Concern located in Portland, Oregon.

Mark Ritchie shortlisted for the Arthur Erickson Memorial Award for an Emerging Architect by Brian Cavanaugh

Brian Cavanaugh appointed to the Board of Directors of The Center for Architecture by Brian Cavanaugh

ABC is pleased to announce that Brian Cavanaugh has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The Center for Architecture.

The Center for Architecture Board of Directors is responsible for maintaining clarity of focus on our mission, and for identifying and prioritizing the programs and events that utilize our resources most effectively. The Board is also engaged in developing the resources that will enable the Center for Architecture to continue to expand the range and number of opportunities we can provide for the public to experience and appreciate the impact that architecture, design and planning have on our daily lives.
