Architecture Building Culture (ABC) is a design focused architectural practice offering a full range of services with offices in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, British Columbia. ABC's international expertise encompasses a wide array of building types including cultural, civic, commercial, educational, and multi and single-family housing.

The work of the practice is based foremost on the belief that within the context of every architectural problem there is great potential and compelling opportunities. Through a rigorous process of research, innovation & design, and collaboration these potentials and opportunities can be revealed. It is for this reason we approach each project not with preconceptions about what the solution should be, but rather, we seek to explore and discover what it can be.

Inherent to this belief is a deep commitment to collaboration as an important and essential aspect of our design process. Different points of view and expertise enrich a project's meaning and overall performance; broaden the intellectual knowledge base available to the project team; and ensure that there is a streamlined development and distribution of knowledge throughout the entire process. To facilitate this approach, we have forged alliances with industry thought-leaders throughout North America and abroad in order to bring coordinated and collaborative expertise to our planning and design work wherever it may be.
